I never planned to teach impromptu speaking. But it all started in college when I found myself broadcasting Stanford basketball games live on the radio. For four years, I had to keep listeners engaged for 2.5 hours using just my voice – with no script and no second chances. 

Those skills changed my career path. I used what I learned to climb from a marketing role to leading business partnerships at the NBA, CBS, and now Lucid Software. Along the way, I built a software company that taught people public speaking skills using AI, taught MBA students leadership communication skills at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and learned from 200 of the best communication coaches in the world. 

I’ve since helped more than 600,000 people improve their communication across social media, which helped me narrow in on where I could be most helpful: teaching professionals how to organize their thoughts and speak clearly when under pressure. Now I've distilled everything I've learned into simple frameworks that have helped hundreds of students land promotions, nail presentations, and speak with confidence in moments that matter.
