STORM v2: fact-checking the rebuilt report

Round two after the funnel walk. The report changed shape: funnel-first, framework per card (primary customer, current manual state, automation, delta), per-card evidence links, and lead-gen back on the table because the funnel itself is the leak.

Five lenses on v2

The Practitioner

A COO reading a teardown of his own funnel

Criticizing a sales funnel to the sales guy who built it is the riskiest move in the report. It survives because it is experiential ("I walked it, here is what happened to me") rather than judgmental, and because every claim links to his own pages.

The walk-through box must stay first-person and factual. The moment it reads as an audit verdict instead of a buyer story, Ray gets defensive. Current draft passes.

The Analyst

Evidence audit of v2

V2 is materially stronger than v1: recommendations #1 and #4 now rest on firsthand observation and their own published promises instead of industry inference. Weakest remaining claim: "no nurture sequence exists," observed over hours, not weeks.

The report correctly downgrades that claim to "nothing since, as of writing, still watching." Keep the monitoring caveat; it is the difference between a finding and an accusation.
Confidence: High on funnel facts (firsthand); medium on nurture absence

The Skeptic

Steelman of MomentumOS

The quiz-to-$5,000 lane may be deliberate: price as a qualification filter for a high-touch 180-day program. If so, "low conversion" is a feature, not a bug, and rec #1 must not assume incompetence.

The report handles this in assumptions ("may be intentionally high-friction... even so, the not-ready-today pool exits with nothing"), which converts the objection into the pitch. Keep that line exactly.
Confidence: Medium

The Economist

Ray’s P&L

V2 fixes v1’s ordering flaw: the lead item is now a revenue lift on traffic already paid for, followed by delivery-cost items. That matches a sales-led co-founder’s incentives precisely.

The CrushTeam angle is the sharpest financial line in the report: the fix for their funnel runs on software they already sell. Zero marginal tooling cost, pure implementation.
Confidence: High

The Historian

Pattern memory

Experiential teardowns ("I went through your onboarding") have the strongest reply rates of any cold deliverable pattern, because they are unfakeable proof of effort. The toolkit email screenshot detail (exmos.ai, Promotions, 24-hour expiry) is the kind of specific that gets forwarded internally.

The self-correction during research (the "Exe" headline that turned out to be a typing animation, not a bug) belongs on the internal sources page as method proof, never on the client page.

V2 earns the grade v1 missed. The two firsthand observations (calibration lane, toolkit email) are 10/10 evidence no competitor deliverable will have, the framework makes every card answer “whose money, whose hours,” and the two weakest claims are explicitly labeled as assumptions on the client page. Remaining watch item: keep monitoring the inbox; if a nurture sequence shows up on day 3, update the page before Ray reads it, since the claim is dated “as of writing.”
